✨💫 Gorgeous 1960's costume 💫✨

Amazing & potentially one-of-a-kind, 1960's gown from Hollywood Costumers, formerly located in Portland, Oregon. This well-known shop was once filled with costumes dating back to the 20's and 30's, and allegedly had purchased items from the famous MGM costume house auction in the 70's. I am not claiming that this dress is from that collection as I have no proof, but am making note of the possibility.
This piece features a striking neon pink sheer bust overlay on gold brocade, with silver metallic threads throughout. V neckline is adorned with gold rope trim and large blue gemstones, meeting an extra large red stone in the center. Extra long gold tassels along the front. Sequin detailing at the waist. There is a paisley jacquard ribbon trim along the sides of the waist and at the hem, complimenting the 2 side slits that go about halfway up the gown. And lastly, this dress is brought to the next level with the highlighter-yellow chiffon cape, bordered by gold lurex rick rack trim. Metal zipper up the back.

☼ Condition: all flaws are documented in photos, please review carefully. There are some tears in some areas of the pink: around the top gem on each shoulder, near the armpit on one side (this was somewhat repaired), and then one small one on the back. There are some holes here and there on the cape, some were repaired, some not. There is also a smudge on the cape, not easily noticed due to the draping. Some of the gemstones have color loss on the back (so that makes them partially clear as the blue has rubbed off).
