About Marissa.
I opened my shop when I was 17 years old, driven by my passion for vintage fashion and a vibrant entrepreneurial spirit. After taking a long hiatus, I am thrilled to be back with a renewed drive and that same passion and dream.

I've worn vintage and secondhand clothing my entire life. Literally since birth. Being the youngest of 5 children, we were a large family with a tight budget. Wearing hand-me-downs and shopping secondhand wasn't glamorous or trendy, it was a requisite for living. Finding the charm in that wasn't always easy, but boy did I learn to create some magic. What started as a discouraging necessity, transformed into an enchanting creative outlet in the form of fashionable expression. My life practically revolved around styling new outfits, repurposing old garments and accessories, and creating new life for not only the clothing, but for me.

I like to believe that fashion is in my blood. My mom grew up in the Philippines, and the building her family owned housed a highly talented seamstress, who would become a part of my mom's family and now a part of my fashion legacy. Many of the items featured here are one-of-a-kind pieces designed and created by her, specifically for my Great Aunt (or Tita) Gloria. Tita Glo was, in my opinion, a fashion icon, who travelled the world in her amazing garments...eventually passing them down to my mom, then my mom to me, and now (gratefully), from me to you.

Thank you for allowing me to share these specially curated pieces with you. Please enjoy.

Our story.
Our vintage company first opened in 2009. We originally were branded under the name “Coeur de Mode”, which loosely translates to Heart of Fashion. After a successful operation for a couple of years, I had moved states, started college, and also gave birth to my firstborn son. I was growing and flourishing in a different capacity…and the business slowly took a hiatus.

Fast forward ten years later, and I had found myself pining for the thrills and fulfillment that selling vintage gave me. I am a real estate marketer & graphics designer by day, and a happy missus & mother by night every moment of every day.

The joy of re-opening my business has restored what my spirit was missing. There is something very enchanting about the unknown history of each vintage piece….it is my goal to inspire others see that story; to revive the love and beauty that each piece deserves…to inspirit the clothing and YOU wearing it.

Thus, Soul Revival Vintage Co. was [re-]born. Revived, if you will.
Thank you for being a part of our story.
xoxo
Special Thanks.
I have to express my gratitude for someone I love so dearly - my mom. Without her, none of this would be possible.
This dream all started in the living room, the kitchen, the basement...(all the rooms) of my parent's home. I was an eager teenager navigating high school and diving head first into starting an online business.
My mom supported me in every way imaginable, whether it be packaging & dropping off almost every order for me while I was at school (don't worry, I do all my own packing now), helping me track expenses, or teaching me to launder vintage clothing.
Mom is my inspiration, I find her to be the most creative & intelligent woman in the whole world. And, let's face it, if it weren't for her "hoarding" tendencies (kidding not kidding), I wouldn't have all these phenomenal old clothes to share with you.
Thank you Mom, from the bottom of my heart, for loving me & helping my dreams come true.
Special thank you #2 goes to my husband, Roy. For consistently supporting me and my business, whether that means sharing my posts on Facebook, painting my studio Pepto-Bismol pink, or carrying hoards of vintage clothing back and forth to flea markets.
Thank you for taking the kids out of the house so I can do a live vintage sale on Facebook in peace, and for never caring about how our bathtub will eternally be filled with 50 year old clothes being soaked.
None of this would be possible without you.
